Wow.
What a difference a seven months, a lot of hard work, a mountain of enthusiasm, and a bunch of fun folks can make when it comes to getting something like an RC car group going. From our informal racing and bashing at J. Neils park this May to a RC car group with 20+ members, 4+ tracks, and a whole lot of fun. The water-cooler talk has now become race-night trash talk, and the random racing around a parking lot has become somewhat organized races - all of which has kept everyone's enthusiasm level high in spite of the cooling temps and changing seasons. Now, with that change of temps, brings the start of a new indoor race league with 1/18th scale cars. It is requiring everyone to adjust their driving styles and gear setup to adjust from dirt racing to slick track racing. More to come on that, as the track comes online and races get scheduled - but it should provide plenty of laughs, good times, and awesome racing.
As previously mentioned, go check out our Surface photo gallery, there are more pictures of the Kootenai RC Racers crew having a blast. If you're interested, shoot us a message on here or on the Kootenai RC Racers Facebook page. We're always looking for more drivers to add in on the fun, as well as bring new ideas to the group.
